DXC Claims Management is excited to commence operations in NSW partnering with icare to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers in New South Wales.

With over 20 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Senior Audit and Compliance Specialist will implement and manage an internal control and governance framework to deliver business objectives. Ensure adherence to all contractual and legal obligations.  Work with iCare and the senior management team to contribute to developing and implementing organisational strategies, policies and practices.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with the icare agreement

  • Provide independent verification of performance to management 

  • Develop, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of internal controls  

  • Maintain a comprehensive internal audit program 

  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the audit program 

  • Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and fraud preventions 

  • Provide detailed reporting to management and the senior leadership team 

  • Liaise with internal and external clients on Compliance activities 

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to the compliance team  

Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Knowledge of Legislation, icare Policies and guidelines 

  • Minimum of 5 years in claims management or in statutory benefits system 

  • Compliance / Internal audit experience including 

  • Understanding of internal control framework testing and monitoring, 

  • Risk management experience 

  • Management experience 

  • Computer skills: Outlook and knowledge of the Microsoft Office
