Animal Emergency Hospital is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant for a part-time position. If you are a skilled assistant looking to take your skills to the next level in emergency then Animal Emergency Hospital wants to hear from you. This hospital is a fast-paced Emergency Hospital that is dedicated to the care of our patients and their families. This experienced Veterinary Assistant must feel comfortable placing IV catheters, doing blood draws, understand patient care and plans of treatments, can do critical thinking, and exceptional patient care abilities, stay calm under pressure, and have the ability to put customer service as a priority.

Animal Emergency Hospital prides itself on being the local go-to hospital when pets are in trouble in the Burton and surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate has a strong focus on exceptional patient care with an understanding of the importance of client communication. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, organized, and willing to learn new skills and able to help out in all areas of the hospital when needed. Requirements

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Understands the importance of excellent communication skills
• Must be able/willing to work overnights
