Job description
Role purpose: The job includes, but is not limited to, develop packaging standards and processes at EMEA level and leading packaging projects in collaboration with other departments to among others reduce packaging consumption, integrate sustainable materials, and reduce costs.
The role is to be located in one of our EMEA site and will require up to 40% of travelling across the region.

Continuously research, recommend and qualify new sustainable packaging materials, technologies, equipment to reduce carbon footprint, improve quality and costs
Develop packaging specification standards across EMEA: Preparing documentation in line with business requirements and ensuring that the manufacturing specifications are compliant
Identify, lead, and support cost savings opportunities
Educate the organization on packaging best practices
Work with cross-functional teams to identify packaging optimization possibilities and eliminate packaging waste
Requirements
Education in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, or a related field
Experienced in Logistic packaging, testing methods, packaging reduction & sustainability
Ability to lead multi-functional projects that vary in complexity and priority
Experience working in complex, international and multi-stakeholder environment
Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus.
The successful candidate will have a critical mind-set and attention to detail with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
