Synopsis of the role
At Equifax Canada, the Summer 2026 Marketing Coordinator Co-op will participate in a 15-week program which is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. This program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. We are looking for a temporary project team member who can assist with various Marketing projects supporting events execution, communications, and digital marketing. As Marketing Coordinator Co-op, you’ll assist with coordinating marketing, sales and employee events by managing events inventory, helping with events logistics, and writing events collateral like invitations. You’ll also develop digital marketing and communications content (employee newsletters, infographics, content stories, sales material).
The 15 week co-op program runs from May 5th 2026 to August 20th 2026.
Co ops are required to follow our hybrid onsite policy of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - onsite for the duration of the 15 - week program.
Monday and Friday are remote work days.
Co ops must be local to the Toronto area and have the ability to commute to our office in Toronto based on where the role is.
Working with our Events Manager, support the creation and execution of engaging marketing, sales and employee events by managing events inventory and helping with events logistics.
Create events collateral including invitations and slide decks, ensuring the Equifax brand is consistent across all materials.
Manage the marketing events calendar, and conduct research on competitors’ events and industry events trends.
Assist with purchase order creation for sponsorships/memberships.
Develop digital marketing and communications content (employee newsletters, infographics, content stories, sales material, slide decks), collaborating with Product and Content Marketing team members.
2nd or 3rd year university student working towards the completion of an undergraduate degree (events management, marketing, communications, media or related discipline preferred), or student working toward college diploma in events management.
Strong internal motivation, and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
Ability to work with cross functional teams and build relationships
Working knowledge of Google apps (Docs, Slides)
Strong written communication skills
Graphic design and layout experience
Outstanding personal initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently multitask
Can work well independently
