ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serves as main point of contact on Fleet Management portal and reporting module for FMS customers and Ryder internal teams (IT, Operations, Online customer support, Sales, etc.)

  • Initiates and maintains contact with customers in relation to portal and reporting issues and projects.

  • Collects feedback on opportunities to improve functionality delivered by portal based on interaction with the customers and internal teams. Prioritizes features to be included on next release.

  • Creates and manages development project plan for portal and reporting enhancements. Works with IT organization to implement release cycles for those enhancements.

  • Coaches and counsels employees on performance, sets performance standards and responsible for other personnel actions.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represents the Voice of the Customer on all projects and strategic discussions related to FMS portal and reporting capabilities.

  • Analyzes and develops detailed specifications using Project Management standard methodologies for enhancements and new features to FMS portal and reporting module.

  • Works closely with IT application teams, Sales, Operations and other departments to bring FMS customers new IT enhancements via the portal using regular release cycles.

  • Works closely with IT Application and Online customer support team to capture and resolve any issues arising from existing functionality available in portal within appropriate service level agreements.

  • Works with Customer Information Service group and in conjunction with Marketing department to develop a strategic plan to increase customer adoption rate of portal and reporting module.

  • Oversees one or more Business Analysts to manage portfolio of new functionality, enhancements and open issues to portal as customer adoption increases for the tool.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

  • Master's degree MBA preferred. preferred.


EXPERIENCE

  • Eight (8) years or more combined experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, System Analysis and Product Management.

  • Experience Strong IT background experience.

  • Experience Exposure to Strategic Planning and Analysis preferred. preferred

KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) process preferred.; intermediate level; preferred.

  • Fleet/Transportation industry knowledge preferred.; intermediate level; preferred.

  • Project and/or Product Management knowledge preferred.; intermediate level; preferred.

  • Strong use of Project Management methodologies as well as IT systems knowledge and a broad functional knowledge of various Ryder FMS products.; advanced level.
