Summary

NP Private Wealth is implementing a strategic plan that includes elevating Private Wealth’s investment platform, leveraging the firm’s global investment capabilities to deliver customized solutions for NB Private Wealth’s clients. In support of growth and innovation, the Private Wealth Investment Group seeks to hire a Due Diligence Analyst to help enhance the delivery of a competitive investment offering aligned with the needs of individuals, families, and the organizations we serve. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Investment Platform on all aspects of the due diligence process, including but not limited to research, communications, and facilitation of operational onboarding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Due Diligence Associate will be responsible for the supporting the selection and ongoing oversight of the strategies utilized in the construction of portfolios for NB Private Wealth’s clients. The candidate will also partner closely with the Investment Strategy Team to identify appropriate strategies in order to facilitate construction of portfolios which reflect the best thinking of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Evaluation and ongoing monitoring of Neuberger Berman public and private products and strategies utilized within NB Private Wealth
  • Evaluation and ongoing monitoring of third party products and strategies utilized within NB Private Wealth
  • Education of Investment Strategy Team, Wealth Advisory and NB Trust Company on all products and strategies
  • Documentation of and adherence to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Partner with Investment Communications Team to deliver relevant information on platform
  • Preparation of relevant business analytics
  • Liaison to PW Operating Platform Team, IT & Operations for all strategy/product related items

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years industry experience required, CFA, and/or other designations preferred
  • Experience in manager due diligence and portfolio construction, preferably across all asset classes, public and private
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player focused on continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders in an empathetic and constructive manner
  • Embrace and promote a culture of client focus, excellence, integrity, and teamwork, effectively encouraging innovation and open dialogue
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Bloomberg/Factset/MStar Direct preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 exams preferred

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $110,000-$130,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
