The Opportunity
The Manager, Content Marketing, is responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals to deliver organic awareness, acquisition, and adoption for our emerging lines of business. You will lead your team in developing and implementing strategic plans that drive YoY growth through multiple acquisition channels. Using a digital-first approach and a customer-centric view, you will guide your team create compelling content and campaigns that resonate with our defined customer segments and strategically nurture leads throughout the customer journey.
What You Will Do
With guidance from the Director, Content Marketing and Marketing Operations, lead the design, development, and approval of the annual content strategy (owned and licensed) with input from business SMEs and content creator groups
Report on content KPIs by consolidating reporting across channels to present to executive leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather results
Build and lead a high-performing team that aligns with Fidelity’s values and that collaborates well in cross-functional environments
Working with your team of content marketers to execute quarterly marketing campaigns designed to drive new and existing clients, including onboarding, cross-selling, retention, and platform adoption programs to drive KPIs
Accountable for website content and ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate at all times (Investor education, Expert Insights)
Responsible for executing against the annual business plan and budget
Responsible for ensuring your team maintains compliance with communication policies, procedures, and brand standards through reviewing, editing, and approving all marketing material and sales communications produced by your team
Vendor relationship administration and support
What You Will Bring
Have a deep working knowledge of the financial services industry with a solid understanding of wealth management and personal finance (registered account types, tax, estate planning, retirement)
Strong knowledge of emerging content platforms with the ability to deliver UX writing for the web, mobile, email and SMS
Exceptional communicator who can leverage data to identify themes, build a narrative and secure buy-in from senior management
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors to ensure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are maintained
Ability to provide strategic direction and coaching across multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, changing focus and priorities as needed
Proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders up, down, and across the organization
Strong project management skills with an emphasis on bringing together multiple stakeholders and driving towards a common goal under specified timelines
Proven leadership experience with a focus on developing and leveraging the capabilities of a high-performing team
Experience, Education
University degree (Bachelor Degree) or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in a marketing or communications function with 3 years of experience leading and growing a high performing marketing team
Minimum undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related discipline
Experience working within the asset management industry or similar financial services organization
