About the Team/Role
We are looking for an exceptional and highly capable Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for our core technology platforms and applications. This role demands a strong technical background, extensive experience collaborating with engineering on complex systems, outstanding communication skills, a proven history of achieving successful product outcomes in a B2B SaaS environment, and a deep dedication to customer-centric product development.
How you’ll make an impact
Define, champion, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform components, ensuring direct alignment with overarching business goals.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis, gathering comprehensive insights from both internal and external customers to identify strategic opportunities and define detailed technical product requirements.
Emphasize and champion a customer-centric product approach, ensuring that all platform decisions and priorities are directly linked to addressing user needs and delivering measurable business value.
Execution & Delivery
Translate complex platform strategy into clear, detailed requirements and user stories for engineering teams.
Collaborate intensively with engineering, business, and operations teams, utilizing Agile methodologies to efficiently deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient products.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on a balanced view of business value, technical debt, customer feedback, and strategic objectives.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial ideation and development through launch and ongoing iteration, with a focus on driving platform adoption and measuring key success metrics.
Stakeholder Management & Measurement
Define and continuously track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for the product, providing guidance and clearly articulating the product's status, vision, and value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations across different regions and functions aligning everyone towards a common goal and providing clear visibility on progress.
Experience you’ll bring
Experience: 7-8 years of proven Product Manager experience in a technology-focused setting, ideally with platform, infrastructure, or B2B SaaS products.
Product Expertise: Demonstrated success in defining, owning, and delivering impactful product strategies and roadmaps.
Technical Acumen: Strong ability to grasp and discuss complex technical concepts, including cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), APIs, and CI/CD/GitOps.
Engineering Partnership: Deep experience collaborating directly with Platform engineering teams, whether building new platforms or managing intricate existing technical systems.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
Influence: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct formal authority.
Research & Experimentation: Experience with user research, A/B testing, and growth experimentation methodologies.
Education (Mandatory): Must possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree from a Tier 1 institution (e.g., IIT, NIT, BITS) or an equivalent high-tier engineering college.-----
Experience working with global teams, including exposure to international communication and stakeholder management.
Some experience or expressed interest in mentoring junior team members.
