Job Description

 Advanced Package Modeling and Pathfinding Intern at Micron,

 As an Advanced Package TD Process Integration Intern at Micron, you will work with experienced engineers to understand how we define technology requirements, build program plans, and secure resources to drive process technology development programs. You will help develop sophisticated interconnect technology solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

Line Monitoring

  • Use Micron Labs for conducting experimental Thermal characterization work and documenting outcomes
  • Analysis of results from experiments and providing clear and practical recommendations
  • Finite Element Analysis/Thermal modeling correlation to experimental results

Leading problem-solving activities

  • Define and implement Design of Experiment (DoE)
  • Communications - same site and site-to-site
  • Present to others

Qualifications and Skills

  • Thermal modeling experience (heat transfer and fluid dynamics)
  • Excellent data extraction, analysis and reporting skills. (System analytics, JMP…etc)
  • Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
  • Successfully demonstrates collaboration skills with a focus on developing good team dynamics
  • Good communication skill to align the perspective through multi-functional teams
  • Tenacity to work effectively under tight timelines and limited resources

Education:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university
  • Must not graduate before Fall 2025
