The Role and Impact

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of HW integrated SW systems including Robotics, inventory controls, thermal control that support the validation activity at Intel Labs.
- Support system-level troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis to address failures and optimize system functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Apply a maker mindset to innovate and adapt during hands-on projects, while maintaining a focus on Intel business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools and software.
- Demonstrated software coding skills with a focus on system-oriented solutions.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary environments.
- Fluent English language to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with maker projects, showcasing creativity and hands-on problem-solving.
- Interest in exploring system engineering trends and contributing to innovative solutions.
- Proven HW and SW experience beyond academic courses.

Qualifications:
- BSc student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 4 semesters remaining till graduation.
- Availability for 2 working days a week.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools and software.
- Demonstrated software coding skills with a focus on system-oriented solutions.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary environments.
