What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The goal is to provide a clear and accurate picture of a companys financial performance. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making. Implement client account plans through relationship development and opportunity pursuits that builds deeper client relationships. Includes monitoring existing services to identify opportunities that provide additional and innovative value to the client.
What are we looking for? •Responsibilities
• Lead the Master Data Management (MDM) team within the Finance & Accounting (F&A) department, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant maintenance of financial master data (vendors, customers, GL accounts, cost centers, etc.).
• Develop and implement MDM policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across F&A systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Procurement, Sales, etc.) to align master data standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report on key data quality metrics; identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of MDM professionals; provide guidance on complex data management issues.
• Lead major MDM projects, including migrations, harmonization, and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and other regulatory requirements regarding master data.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on master data trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance data management processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with significant exposure to master data management and data governance.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, etc.) as it relates to data management.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation is preferred.
