We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager to support the development and delivery a program of marketing and communications work which drive our business objectives both in Australia and in our international Markets. This role involves coordinating, implementing, and managing cross channel communication plans, marketing initiatives, and engagement initiatives. You will play a crucial role in supporting our Agency, Corporate, and SME partnerships, and international marketing teams ensure ongoing revenue and enhancement of relevant brand, product or partnerships within assigned business area. 

This role will work closely with senior stakeholders within the Qantas Group including sales and distribution, corporate communications and the broader airline marketing team. This role demands a creative thinker with excellent collaboration and influencing skills, capable of fostering strong relationships and ensuring the seamless execution of communication and marketing activity. 

You’ll have – 

  • 5-10 years in roles related to Marketing and/or communications  
  • Tertiary qualification in related field (marketing or communications) 
  • Strong understanding of all aspects marketing and communications with experience in B2B and B2C 
  • Demonstrated copyrighting experience for a range of channels  
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person to executive level audiences  
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required, using initiative to tight deadlines 
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and a high level of attention to detail 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically partner internally within a large organisation to deliver optimal outcomes 
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines 
  • People mentoring and management experience
