What to expect in this role
We are looking for Senior Business Analyst with Temenos to support with validation and initial implementation of the product - the person needs to have a combination of skills including deep recent understanding of T24 product, the core banking space in general and technology - so technical BA / architect type person.
Our client is looking at future expansion and they are imminently going to secure a US banking licence and look at building out a new core stack to offer banking services to their corporate clients. They have selected Temenos as their core stack.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, project managers, and development teams, to gather and analyse business requirements related to payment processing, fraud prevention, and financial reconciliation.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing payment systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Identify and document business processes, system functionalities, and integration points to support the development of comprehensive requirements specifications.
Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to elicit requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation, such as business requirements, use cases, user stories, process flows, and data mappings.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets and payment trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business growth and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementations, providing guidance and clarifications as needed.
Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes or enhancements to payment systems and processes, identifying potential risks and dependencies.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities to ensure the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the payment domain, and provide expertise and recommendations on their application to drive innovation and business growth.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers, and emerging payment technologies.
Access and excel macros experience
Extensive experience with Temenos.
Experience in Banking industry
Proven track record of successfully delivering payment-related projects, from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
Experience working with payment gateways, acquirers, processors, and other payment service providers.
Familiarity with payment regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
