Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with strong expertise in report automation, data visualization, and process optimization. This role is key to driving business efficiency by delivering scalable, automated reporting solutions and transforming manual processes into streamlined, data-powered workflows.
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, automate repetitive reporting tasks, and improve data accessibility through self-service tools. This position also serves as a subject matter expert in Power BI, reporting governance, and operational BI automation.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and other visualization tools to support business decision-making.
  • Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
  • Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Query disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
  • Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete the analysis.
  • Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within existing reporting and data workflows, significantly reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand key metrics, pain points, and goals, translating them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decision-makers.
  • Act as a Power BI SME, supporting governance, best practices, and internal enablement across departments.
  • Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure smooth data flow, data accuracy, source connectivity, and backend support for reporting infrastructure.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
