Job Description:

Software Engineer – Production Support & Development is responsible for end-to-end system development and production support, covering UI, business, integration, and data layers. The role involves understanding architecture requirements and ensuring effective design, development, validation, deployment, and ongoing production support activities.

The individual will adhere to organizational guidelines, security standards, and development processes while working on modern backend and web technologies. The role requires close collaboration with engineers working across multiple layers of the system, demanding strong problem‑solving skills, ownership of production stability, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Skills Required

Core programming language expertise, enterprise frameworks, RESTful services, authentication and authorization mechanisms, web application development, relational databases, caching technologies, front‑end frameworks, scripting, and integration technologies.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade web and backend applications

· Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and permanent resolution

· Work with internal and external data sources, system integrations, and APIs

· Translate functional and technical designs into high‑quality, maintainable code

· Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, reusable, secure, and reliable applications

· Identify recurring production issues and implement long‑term fixes and automation

· Perform bug fixing, performance tuning, and system optimization

· Support release activities, post‑deployment validation, and stabilization efforts

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across integrated systems

Requirements:

· Any degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

· experience in software development with exposure to production support

· Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and backend frameworks

· Good experience with relational databases, ability to write complex queries and stored procedures

· Experience working with RESTful services and structured data formats

· Experience integrating with third‑party systems and services

· Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions

· Experience with performance tuning, concurrency, and system reliability concepts

· Understanding UI principles, design patterns, and best practice

· Familiarity with building pipelines, source control, and continuous integration

· Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

· Strong logical reasoning, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
