  •  Perform duties related to the secure operation of the American Airlines aircraft such as but not limited to manning the aircraft door and challenging all personnel entering the aircraft, communicating with the cabin and cockpit crew, informing the necessary authority of any unauthorized personnel attempting to access the aircraft, searching all equipment and personnel entering the aircraft and logging necessary entries.
  • Performing ramp security duties: the agent will be responsible for monitoring all activities on the ramp areas immediately and adjacent to the American Airlines aircraft.
  • Perform aircraft cabin observations which include continuously observing the entire area accessed by non-AA and or non-security personnel, including those inside separate cabins of a multi-cabin aircraft.
  • Controlling and limiting access to baggage, baggage room and makeup areas. Baggage must be secured to prevent unauthorized access to baggage which has been screened and approved for loading.
  • Screening of baggage in accordance with the American Airlines procedures.
  • Conducting interior and exterior aircraft search in accordance with American Airlines procedures
  • Any other duties requested by your immediate supervisor and department head.
