This role will be responsible for supporting in the preparation of engineering documents for Product Liability cases. The job scope also includes various additional legal and compliance support functions that impact research and design activities.
From technical standpoint, to support required government negotiations.
Job Responsibilities
Duties would depend on the project but could include:
Planning and negotiations.
Schedule control
Gather necessary technical vehicle information.
Support discovery activities touching research and design for open litigation matters such as collecting and producing documents/comments for product liability discovery requests.
Perform internal investigation and research on litigation matters.
Communicate with NTCNA-FH areas on all aspects of litigation matters.
Execute corporate records governance policy including implementing records retention training and annual records review activity for research and design facilities located in NTCNA-MEX R&D.
Report status and open issues for all pending discovery requests and related matters.
Education:
Engineering degree (Industrial, Automotive, quality).
Previous work experience:
2 years of experience
Required knowledge:
Problem solving.
Good grasp of engineering and design principles
An understanding of vehicle manufacturing processes
Language:
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. TOEIC 600 points wanted.
Computer Skills:
MS Office proficient. Advanced Excel mainly.
Competences:
Ability to thoroughly analyze the technical and legal details of products.
Ability to coordinate record retention activity for entire organization
Strong problem-solving skills
A creative approach for generating new ideas.
With emphasis on project management and effective communication between departments.
An appreciation of wider business demands & awareness of design engineering change impacts.
Proactivity, creative to improve current workflows.
Strong quality work ethic, excellent organization skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
Availability to travel: (Desirable to have active VISA and passport)
