Application Architect

As Application Architect, you will be responsible for the following:
- Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API management.
- Lead solution design for business requirements leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
- Participate in enterprise level design board discussions.
- Lead large to small development teams in multi-phase, heterogonous work environments, with multiple work streams.
- Technical leadership/mentoring of API developers
- Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Setting up enterprise API governance model.
- API Policy Management, Performance Monitoring, logging.
Must have Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 8 years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint API platform with hands on experience on version 4.
- Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns and problem solving abilities with respect to Message Sequencing, Correlation, and Queuing Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for building enterprise middleware systems from the ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed Delivery, Message Sequencing, Batch Message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Experience using various Mule connectors including HTTP, AWS, DB, VM and File/FTP
- Experience in developing OAS3 based REST APIs using MuleSoft products.
- Good knowledge of MASA/SOA architecture with understanding of web service standards such as WSSE, OAuth, SAML etc. and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST).
- Hands on with Gremlin, OpenSearch, Neptune and Dynamo Databases.
- Good knowledge of Spring boot framework.
- Experienced troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools.
- Hands on Experience with AWS cloud and native services like Lambda, Polly, Lex.
- Good understanding of relational databases.
- Implementation experience with Mule API management portal.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- MCIA (MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) certified.
- Experienced with Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile process.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field.
Nice to have Technical and Professional Expertise
- Certifications including: MCD, MCPA
- Experience with financial service business processes
- Experience with software development in a cloud environment desired.
