Job Summary

You can make a difference in patients' lives as an Environmental Specialist with Corewell Health. In this role, you will assist the Supervisor in coordinating and facilitating daily operations, addressing employee and customer concerns, and ensuring that all daily tasks are completed. You will also be responsible for conducting quality audit inspections. Communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure continuity of service and help foster a positive work environment.


Essential Functions

  • Vacuum/Sweep
  • Dust Mop/Damp Mop
  • Remove Trash/Soiled Linen
  • Use Chemicals to clean/polish
  • Interact with Patients/Guests/Staff
  • Low Dust/High Dust
  • Disinfect/Terminally Clean Patient Contact Surfaces
  • Replace Supplies (i.e. paper products, soap, etc.)
  • Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned

Qualifications
  • Required Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems.
