As the Manager of the Boise Facilities Planning Organization, you will define and drive the vision and innovation of the department. You will be responsible to lead the teams responsible for long term site strategic capital planning, tactical capacity planning and Operational Improvements while working closely with teams from Fab Operation, Facilities, Supply Chain, TD, Mfg and Embedded Business Units to enable the Department to continue to lead in this driven operational landscape.

Primary Responsibility

  • Drive for continuous focus on behaviors and processes to ensure a safe work environment for you, your team and coworkers
  • Establish a strong culture in the team that promotes innovation and self-development
  • Develop and drive a strong ethic of continuous improvement in your teams thru collaboration with partnering stakeholders, focus on teamwork and empowering the team by clearly communicating priorities
  • Collaborate with Facilities leaders to ensure a focused alignment of company and department goals for your team
  • Ensure the continued innovation of the current planning systems thru the use of AI as well as automation
  • Benchmark with all Micron mfg sites to ensure your team is aligned to or driving the BKM’s for their systems and process’s
  • Find opportunities to improve planning process to reduce operational costs and quality of Facilities systems
  • Partner with manufacturing and Supply Chain to define clear needs for the department as well as identify and drive improvements in shared process’s
  • Develop a succession management strategy and periodically conduct talent reviews within department.

Requirement

  • Demonstrated success in previous leadership positions
  • Solid understanding and passion in planning and OI.
  • Strong leadership skill with proven record in talent management and strong execution.

Education:

  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), or equivalent degree
