About Finland 

 
Our Finland locations include Vantaa and Joensuu, employing over 800 professionals in R&D, production, supply chain, quality, marketing, sales, and administrative support. We hire experts in different fields including engineering, chemistry and microbiology.

Our Vantaa site develops laboratory automation solutions, clinical chemistry and industrial chemistry analyzers and assays, food safety kits, and other diagnostics and research solutions.

How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our business unit procurement team.

In this role you will work with cross-functional teams, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to deliver value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and supply chain optimization.

You'll support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by ensuring reliable, cost-effective procurement of critical materials and services.

What will you do?

  • Lead projects to improve supplier efficiency and ensure a stable supply chain
  • Work as a first touch point for supporting purchasing in mitigating supply risks or quality concerns
  • Work as an interface between Global Category Management organization and local site business needs
  • Represent Procurement in NPI projects and coordinate supply base related activities with x-functional team
  • Identify supplier capability requirements and select suppliers.

How will you get here?

  • A degree from University or University of Applied Sciences (Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field)
  • 3 years or more of procurement/sourcing/supply chain management experience
  • Experience working in a complex and constantly evolving environment
  • Strong interpersonal communicative skills, able to influence through collaboration and partnership in a matrix organization
  • Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and in writing)
  • Proven success executing strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making capabilities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, spend analytics, and Microsoft office tools
  • Demonstrated success in achieving cost savings and process improvements
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to travel 10-20% as required.

Experience working in regulated industries like life sciences, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals is seen as a benefit.
