The Market Risk and Product Control Technology team is looking for a Senior Manager/Director to contribute to and lead the extension of the platforms.
The role is a managerial role primarily responsible for the Market Risk Reporting application, and will be managing a local team of engineers, developers, and business systems analysts.
This candidate should also be able to inspire, motivate, and maximize a team of highly talented technologists, delivering solutions to the Product Control and Finance stakeholders in TD Securities.
The role is primarily managerial in nature, and the ideal candidate would be a self-starting, motivated and high-performing individual who will be able collaborate closely with the Risk Management stakeholders to deliver changes, as well as define and execute the strategic future state of the platform.
On the technical side, the candidate is also expected to understand architectural design as well as the system functionalities. The candidate should also work with engineers on the team to spearhead cloud migration, application redesign initiatives. The role is senior in nature and is expected to collaborate closely with colleagues and executives in and outside the group, both on the business and technology side, in order to strategize and move forward the platform and dealer as a whole.
Selected candidate will be Technology Asset Owner (TAO) of the application, who is accountable for end-to-end delivery, design, implementation, and management of a technology system.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
