The Senior Manager, Workforce Management will be a lead consultant to the Regional Customer Care organization by supporting short and long term operational/strategic business activites; develop, enhance and maintain workforce management solutions and models that will have an impact on business decisions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages customer expectations (i.e. balance needs vs. wants). Work with key project stakeholders and business partners to formulate and communicate the business vision for analytic solutions
  • Designs, develops, and tests reports and small systems using approved technologies to satisfy business requirements
  • Effectively document and communicate decisions, understand customer needs and proactively elicit, capture, and communicate business requirements to meet those needs
  • Validate solutions, designs, and test plans to ensure traceability to business requirements
  • Lead large-scale projects and initiatives, delegate analysis work, and provide direction, guidance, and support
  • Lead data modeling and BI architecture design efforts to provide data driven insights
  • Lead a collaborative team environment dedicated to providing value-added information, technology and application services that result in increased business efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes
  • Is recognized as an expert or authority in solving business analytical problems regardless of technical area and often sought by senior management to take on assignments
  • Leads in the conduct of enterprise/workforce analysis focusing on understanding the needs of the business a whole, its strategic direction, and identifying initiatives that will allow a business to meet those strategic goals

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with minimum of 5 years relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Strong knowledge/experience Microsoft Office Suite with BI tools such as (Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge/experience with the implementation and utilization of  Workforce Management tools (Verint/NICE)
  • Strong understanding and execution of BA responsibilities e.g. analysis, business requirements, development, customer approvals, negotiating changes in scope. 
  • Ability to develop, highly functional, user-friendly reports and systems that meet business needs
  • High attention to quality and detail
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in written and oral communications needed to be successful in a BA role (ability to translate IT-terminology into layman’s terms)
