Grove Parking Crew

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

This is a part-time, event-based position within the Parking Department. Parking Crew staff will provide safe, efficient, and appropriate access and egress from parking lots and locations for scheduled events. This position contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of our event operations and our ability to deliver consistently high-quality service to the public.​​

Responsibilities

• Process credit card payments and scan valid parking pass for patrons via point-of-sale device 

• ​Direct vehicles to parking areas and specific locations safely, efficiently, and appropriately 

• ​Coordinate flow of traffic before, during, and after events as required 

• ​Set up and move parking cones, barricades, and other equipment to control traffic in an assigned area 

• ​Direct individuals with a special parking pass to the specific and appropriate location 

• ​Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Prior experience operating a cash register preferred

• Able to remain composed and exercise sound judgment when interacting with fans, guests, and patrons

• Able to stand for extended periods of time

• Able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Flexible schedule, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Uniform provided and required for this role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required – 0-1 Years
