As the Head of Design for Nextdoor's Monetization pillar, you'll shape strategy, drive design vision, and lead a small team of designers delivering exceptional outcomes for the businesses and brands on Nextdoor. From ad creation and management to reporting, analytics, and ad formats, you'll oversee monetization design across the Nextdoor ecosystem. This includes the envisioning and development of a new product line for small businesses success that is part of NEXT – the next generation user experience of Nextdoor. Entrepreneurial thinking is a must.

You’ll design tools that transform how businesses engage, serve, and convert local audiences. Curiosity and insights inspire you to rethink challenges and craft innovative solutions. In this cross-functional role, you'll help define priorities for the Monetization team, delivering impactful product experiences across platforms to shape the future of Nextdoor. This position reports to the Chief Design Officer.

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our rewards package. Total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $241,000 - $270,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within the first 3 months of your start date.
