Job Description:
Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Flightline A&P Mechanic to join our A220 team based in Mobile, AL.
This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 2::30pm to 11:00pm. However, flexibility to shift based on company needs is paramount.
The Flightline Mechanic is responsible for performing Functional Test Procedures, Pre & Post Flight inspections to prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This would include troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data.

Troubleshoot malfunctions, rigs, repairs, replacement aircraft structures, components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty
Maintain and rework Aircraft Components including but not limited to landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and ventilation
Servicing, repair cabin interior components
Prepare documentation in according with company procedure
Perform day to day aircraft maintenance
Experience with Refuel/Defuel, Aircraft Jack and Tow
Qualified Experience / Education / Training:
3 years minimum aviation experience, preferably in an aviation manufacturing or MRO environment
Valid Airframe and Powerplant License
Valid Driver License
Must be willing to work Rotation shift schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport which allows unrestricted travel to Canada
High School Diploma
Vocational/Tech School Credential
Physical Requirements:
Vision: able to see and utilize computer screens; able to move through office and from point to point to
find specific co-workers and in-house experts.
Hearing: able to hear in normal conversations and respond to warnings and signals.
Speaking: able to participate in normal business conversations.
Equipment Operation: Able to operate standard office equipment, ground support equipment, and man lifts
Carrying: Able to carry up to 40 lbs. /18kg
Lifting: Able to lift up to 40lbs. /18kg on occasion
Pushing / Pulling: able to push/pull up to 500lbs on wheels
Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time
Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally able to squat/kneel
Standing: able to stand for long periods of time
Travel: able to travel domestically and/or internationally for training purposes and offsite aircraft recovery
Walking: able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces
Climate: able to work in various weather conditions
Citizenship:
Must be able to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
