What is the role?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in a dual role which supports the Medical & Sports Science departments with the day-to-day administrative and coordination duties, as well as providing a professional and welcoming front of house presence at the training ground reception.
The successful candidate for this position will be essential to ensuring the smooth operations across both public-facing and internal medical support functions.
What will you be doing?
You will be supporting the 1st team Science & Medical department with administrative tasks such as coordinating the logistics and communications around player medical appointments (including pre-signing medicals) and the coordination of medical insurance and other documentation, ensuring player records are up to date.
Monitoring drug and equipment stocks, you will support the servicing and general upkeep of equipment and ensure the appropriate level of stock is available by ordering equipment and consumables, generating Purchase Order Numbers, and liaising with Procurement and suppliers.
Another aspect of the role will include reception and front desk operations. You will greet visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring all signing in procedures and security protocols are followed.
You will handle enquiries from staff, players, and visitors quickly and efficiently, managing incoming/outgoing mail, phone calls and emails to ensure accurate information is provided.
For this role you will be required to be available for some ad hoc matchday support.
Is this you?
You have a strong understanding of medical confidentiality, which ideally comes from previous experience in a medical admin support role but not essential. You are organised and have great attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and able to work independently.
