Position Summary
Assists program director in the management and direction of fellow and/or resident training program ensuring program compliance with regulatory agency standards and maintaining essential documentation for program. Coordinates educational activities for incoming and current residents and/or fellows and functions as a liaison between residents, fellows, departments, attending physicians, administration and outside institutions.
Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in all aspects of departmental recruitment process, including database management, mailings, email correspondence, accommodations, virtual hosting, and scheduling interviews.
- Manages residency files from onboarding through graduation, tracks credentialing and licensure, and reviews resident records for program compliance.
- Coordinates program verification process for residency program graduates.
- Maintains New Innovations (Resident Management Online Program), enters schedules, creates evaluations, duty hour logs, conference attendance, and compiles reports.
- Assists in all aspects of academic year-end events and graduate compliance.
- Provides direct administrative coordination and assistance to the Manager of Medical Education Programs and the Director of Administration including scheduling and coordinating events and meetings throughout the year.
- Assists with visitors and guests as necessary, answers office phone, routes mail and faxes, and maintains resident lounge.
- Coordinates Program CME activities and monitors lecturer compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with residency training programs or other graduate medical education working experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Working knowledge of PC, word processing, spreadsheets and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to function independently, use discretion, maintain confidentiality and problem solve.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years.

Salary Range
$23.37 - $36.19 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
