About the role:  This role will track, review and communicate pending and passed regulations, agency guidelines or directives to impacted lines of business and assist in setting priorities for regulatory issues that must be addressed by the business. This position will support the strategic growth of the company's AI and GenAI program

About the team:  
The Compliance Risk Governance team is responsible for managing Enterprise risks across our Global Compliance organization as well as building an Enterprise AI Governance program. We partner with other FIS Corporate functions, Technology organizations, and lines of business to address material risk exposures by ensuring we develop and implement practical and scalable process and procedures.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with conducting risk assessments based on proposed use cases 
  • Assist to develop a robust risk project tracker and document governance framework that aligns with business needs and regulatory standards
  • Write Policies, Procedures, and required program documents
  • Help develop and mature the intake process 
  • Assist to develop ongoing governance procedures for GenerativeAI Use Cases
  • Assist to develop robust Reporting, and track applicable Metrics

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. 

  • Typically requires three or more years of experience in the regulatory compliance field and must be knowledgeable in more than one area of regulatory compliance such as banking regulations, consumer reporting, tax, anti-money laundering or anti-corruption.
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Excellent written and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand technical documents and legal or regulatory reference materials and ability to understand and apply learned concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
  • Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to compliance issues
  • Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature

  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple concurrent projects of medium complexity.to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
  • Experience contributing to complex projects to gain experience, share ideas and suggests process improvements

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $52,760.00 - $86,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
