JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering Specialist where you will have the opportunity to collaborate on the project Next Gen. The client is a company specializing in financial services and banking solutions with a global presence.
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams. Intermediate proficiency in Java Spring is required. Intermediate proficiency in Core Java is recommended. Intermediate proficiency in Custom Application Development, Software Design & Solutions, and Software Engineering is suggested.
Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement robust software components that meet project requirements. Support team members by sharing expertise and providing guidance on complex technical challenges. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with business objectives and technical standards.
Analyze and resolve technical issues proactively to maintain high-quality deliverables and system performance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and product quality.
Responsibilities:

• Solid knowledge of Java 8-9.
• A minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience in relevant related skills.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Spring Batch.
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Sbitbucket).
• Knowledge of REST architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle/MySQL) and preferably non-relational databases (MongoDB).
• Team management, work plan development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Estimating.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of studies.
• English Intermediate: B1.

Nice to have skills:

• Desired experience with Jenkins or Python/Spark.
• Desired experience with cloud computing.
• Desired experience with AI engines, prompting, and agents.
• Java certification.
