Your new role:

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is looking for a Payments and Fraud Business Intelligence Manager to join the Global Fraud & Abuse Operations Team to support in detecting and preventing risks across all WBD properties which includes Max “The One to Watch”, Discovery+, Harry Potter Studio Tours, DC Universe Infinite, and more. This team is at the forefront of ensuring a seamless and frictionless experience for consumers while protecting the revenue of the business.

As a global unit, we are looking for candidates across our many offices around the world to support in our fight against fraud and abuse 24x7. A successful candidate will have a curious mind, who thinks outside the box, and who enjoys solving complex problems with data. If you have an interest in data analysis, investigations, stopping fraud, and, most importantly, advocating for the consumer, then this role is “The One to Apply”.

Your role accountabilities:

  • Lead a team of business intelligence analysts by Developing and implementing strategies to improve data quality and data insights related to payments and fraud;

  • Overseeing the hiring and training of new analysts;

  • Building and maintaining up-to-date SOP and training documentation;

  • Prioritizing and tracking projects across the team;

  • Working closely with Payments and Fraud Team to understand business objectives, data requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs);

  • Leverage robust analytical abilities to process and interpret extensive datasets, uncovering critical insights to guide decision-making;

  • Maintaining high data quality and addressing any discrepancies.

  • Improve data access and insights through automation by reducing manual dependency on pulling data;

  • Assisting in standardizing metrics, tables, and queries;

  • Developing ways to use ETL processes to combine distinct datasets or to clean data for final user consumption;

  • Collaborate with teams to drive a one culture mindset, such as partnering with Product and Engineering teams on new feature requests and enhancements;

  • Delivering consistent data and reports to key stakeholders to keep them updated on the effects of payments and fraud on their business.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor´s degree in related area;

  • Advanced English Skills;

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manager in the area;

  • Advanced Skills in SQL;

  • Experience with at least one ETL processing and/or Data Visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker);

  • Have directly worked with fraud vendors that use machine learning and rules systems

Other Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with payment industry regulations is a plus.
