Core Responsibilities

  • Identifies client needs and works with internal partners to determine tailored solutions aligned with Vanguard’s investment philosophy.

  • Partners with sales executives in business development and sales processes to support growth initiatives.

  • Maintains accurate client records in CRM systems and ensures compliance with Vanguard methodology, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

  • Supports the analysis of client investment risk tolerance, discusses appropriate savings or spending strategies, and provides additional financial planning solutions such as retirement and wealth-building strategies.

  • Conducts periodic reviews of portfolios and creates detailed reports addressing ongoing client advisory needs.

  • Implements wealth-building strategies based on client goals and Vanguard’s disciplined investment approach.

  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of client financial situations through consultative conversations and uncovering key information.

  • Develops general knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services to educate clients effectively. Maintains a broad understanding of financial planning principles, capital markets, and the Financial Services industry.

  • Participates in special projects and contributes to process improvements to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

  • Drive Outcomes and take decisive action to achieve results.

  • Maintain client focus and deliver exceptional service.

  • Optimize work processes for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Demonstrate situational adaptability and resourcefulness in problem-solving.


Qualifications

  • Two years experience in client relationship management or customer service preferred. Experience within Financial Services industry preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM systems and strong organizational, time management, and consultative skills.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Progress toward completion of the CFP® examination preferred.

  • This job requires a regulatory license - Series 7, Series 66, and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
