JOB SUMMARY:  The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for all logistics in the company. They will manage all inbound and outbound shipments in coordination with purchasing, project teams and management. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Load and unload small packages. 
  • Forklift operation. 
  • Shipment documentation and creation. 
  • Purchase order creation. 
  • Package shipments.  
  • Mark and tag raw material and put away. 
  • Other duties, as assigned

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required. 

  • Be a team player. 
  • Have great attention to detail. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation). 
  • Strong work ethic. 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 

DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:  

  • Ability to work with minimal oversite. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand most of the day while working 40-45 -hour work week
