About the Role

Mixpanel is searching for meticulous and dedicated Data Cleaning and Deal Audit Specialists to join our team in India. This team will oversee data cleanliness within Salesforce (SFDC) and internal billing systems and also take charge of managing our deal audit process. Primary focus will be on ensuring data accuracy and integrity across platforms, as well as conducting thorough audits of sales deals to maintain compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • SFDC Data Cleanup: Lead comprehensive data cleansing efforts within Salesforce, focusing on accuracy of field level data on accounts, contacts, opportunities, and other relevant objects. Examples of scope include but are not limited to managing geography fields, and company hierarchies.
  • Deal Audit Management: Oversee the deal audit process, ensuring that details of all deals are accurately recorded in Salesforce. Ensure opportunity level data accurately reflects corresponding Order Forms. Verify sales opportunities comply with company policies.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the quality and accuracy of data across platforms. Develop and implement robust protocols, procedures, and best practices to maintain consistent data hygiene standards.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes and workflows within Salesforce and other integrated systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, streamline operations, and drive efficiency gains.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of data cleaning processes, audit findings, and outcomes. Generate comprehensive reports on data quality metrics, audit results, and progress of data clean-up initiatives.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members on data cleaning best practices, deal audit procedures, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability across the organization.
  • Ad-Hoc Requests: Act as an available resource for ad-hoc data enrichment requests as needed.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Salesforce administration, with demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce customization, configuration, and automation.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices, particularly within Salesforce environments.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and optimization, with experience in identifying inefficiencies and driving tangible results.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in deal audit management or compliance-related roles is highly desirable.
  • This individual will be required to work occasional PST hours to ensure organization alignment and efficiency.
