Job Profile Title RCM Primary Care Follow Up

Job Summary The RCM Primary Care Follow Up Specialist ensures all initial third-party and federal/state government claims are billed and all unpaid, rejected, or denied claims receive appropriate follow-up or an appeal to overturn the denial as required. Reports to: RCM Supervisor Primary Care Follow Up Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:

· Accurate and timely submission of insurance claims.

· Obtaining missing information and researching denials.

· Following up on claims.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in revenue cycle management or related field preferred.

Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations N/A Skills and Abilities

· Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams.

· Analytical mindset for interpreting claim data.

· Attention to detail in maintaining compliance with department standards and HIPAA regulations.

· Ability to transact business in person and by phone

Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships

Collaborates with billing, coding, and clinical teams to optimize revenue cycle processes.

Physical Capabilities Position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on a phone, and working on a computer. Essential hearing and near vision acuity required. Should be able to lift up to 20 pounds, push, pull, and stooping required at times. Environmental/Working Conditions Work area is in an office environment, well lit, and subject to varying indoor temperatures.
