Overview of the job
A Trial Channel Manager will be handling at least 1 site. He/she is responsible for planning, deploying, and executing Brand Activation plans and strategies to deliver the planned trials, thereby growing brand penetration, attain category leadership and grow P&G business through repurchase from first-time users.

This role reports to Senior Director – Brand Operations.
The Trial Channel Manager will be partnering with Distributor DTC organization which again comprises of multiple campaign leaders and agency partners.
How success looks like
Execution of trial plans by territory, within assigned budgets Disproportionately higher trials executed in the first half of the year, to be able to drive repeat purchase in the same year for P&G. Best in class trial execution of focus brands/ campaigns Ideation and execution of new initiatives to improve Reach, Effectives (and/or) Efficiency Stewardship and process adherence in DTC organization
Job Description:
Deliver Brand Wise Trial Plans By-Program, via Strong Executional Excellence.
Management of Distributor DTC organization, ensuring right skill sets mapped to each role & Coordinate in-market execution including Brand Toolkit and Right consumer segment Adherence.
Manage Execution Budget sustainably, Accurate Stock and materials Planning Basis Trial Plans and Ensure Financial Stewardship (including Claim Management) across Brands and Programs.
Drive Targeted Local Activation Programs through Festivals and Events to improve efficiencies, improving Key Consumption Periods and/or How High is High Programs.
Monitor and Report Competitor Activation Programs and execute Defense Plans in coordination with Central Team
Supervise Trial and Man Days delivery at the right cost and quality along with the Distributor DTC Team, attending regular drumbeat meetings with Distributor Owner.
Capability building and adherence to training calendar of Trial Organization along with Distributor Partners
Uphold highest standards of Controls and Stewardship across distributor and agency partners, on-ground execution team and Back-room operations
Job Qualifications
A Graduate (Degree in Science/Business/Commerce/Arts) or equivalent Degree.
3+ years of relevant activation experience across Sales promotion, Consumer Activation or other BTL Executions preferably in FMCG Sector.
Passionate about execution perfection and operating with discipline.
Forward thinking along with the ability and agility to adapt and course-correct as needed, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives.
Outstanding communication and relationship skills including cross-functional collaboration to be able to partner in driving meaningful initiatives.
Strong analytical skills, ability to deduce root cause and then propose and execute meaningful recommendations.
Driven leader who approaches things with a sense of urgency.
