An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team here at Orbit as a Commercial Assistant, based in our new Gillingham office. About the Role

As a Commercial Assistant you'll primarily be responsible for reporting against contractual terms and key performance indicators, day to day commercial operations and producing the management accounts. In this role you will provide administrative support to the team, running reports, processing adjustments and interrogating financial data to identify discrepancies.

As A Commercial Assistant you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • Ensuring contractual requirements are met
  • Extract and prepare financial data for analysis
  • Ensure all invoicing is prepared
  • Assist the ongoing development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of benchmark reports
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients and contractors
  • Ensuring data and records are accurate

Role Criteria

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Assistant who has previous experience in an administration / commercial admin-based role. Ideally you will have worked within housing or property. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain a flexible attitude to work task and workload along with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate, enthusiasm, flexibility, and the willingness to progress any ad-hoc tasks as required.

  • Understanding of SOR’s
  • IT Literate
