We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management based out of San Diego, CA (On-Site only).

What You'll Get To do:

Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between program management, production, planning, procurement, supply chain, quality, supplier quality, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, Line Managers, and Program Management. ​

 

 

Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related professional experience that includes a background in project management, supply chain, engineering or business (6 years with Masters degree; 10 years with Associate's Degree; we will also accept 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications to include advanced skills using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong Excel skills to include utilization of Pivot Tables.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain clearance

• US Citizenship required

• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)

• Experience with MRP , SAP, PDM and MES Systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management:

• Current/Active Security Clearance.

• Experience with Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally.

• Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with EVMS processes.

• Experience gathering, manipulating, and processing raw data at scale. Interpreting data provided by SAP, PDM and MES Systems.

• Experience reading engineering documentation, BOM Structures, and PLM tools.

• Experience presenting to senior leadership.

• Experience with Operations processes including production, procurement, supplier management, material management and release, planning, quality processes, and work order management.

• Experience with Process Improvement

• SharePoint experience.

• Experience with Tableau and MES systems.

Primary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
