Job Summary :

To assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in a clinical capacity. Daily responsibilities of the position are based solely on the needs of the practice at any given time.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:  

1. Corroborates patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use and consults with physician regarding examination to be performed as needed. 

2. Verifies appropriate consent is obtained prior to procedure. 
3. Confirms patient identification, prepares patient for procedure, provide any necessary instructions to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.

4. Adjust technical factors appropriately to patient and body part being examined. 

5. Uses sound clinical judgment and clinical guidelines to perform ordered exam. 

6. Reviews monitor and reports for proper positioning, technique and identifications. 

7. Documents patients medical record entries and documents charge information into electronic medical record for billing.

Education and Experience Required: 

1. Graduation from accredited high school

2. Completion of one year (minimum) ultrasound training CAHEA approval is recommended.

Mandatory Licensure/Certifications: 

1. ARDMS registered or registry eligible.

2. OB/GYN certification within one year (minimum) of employment

Work Shift :

8:00am – 5:00pm (United States of America)
