About the Opportunity

We are the Account Security Team of OKX, dedicated to providing exceptional account security protection for our platform users. Our team designs and implements innovative account security solutions, covering identity authentication, security settings guidance, user-initiated controls, environmental security, and platform-level defenses.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with the team lead to develop strategic plans for account security products, take ownership of specific feature design and implementation, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize user experience, enhance user security awareness, and use data-driven continuous optimization to defend against Account Takeover (ATO) attacks, contributing to the overall improvement of the platform's security capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Product Planning and Design
  • Strategic Participation: Collaborate with the team lead to develop strategies for identity verification, user-initiated controls, environmental security, and platform defenses, ensuring alignment with industry trends and platform needs.
  • Feature Design and Innovation: Lead the design of core functionalities such as dynamic multi-factor authentication (MFA), risk-based verification, and implicit authentication, driving seamless and effective security capabilities.
  • User Experience Optimization: Partner with design teams to create intuitive user interfaces and workflows (e.g., MFA setup, device management) to ensure security features are accessible and user-friendly.
  1. Development Push and Strategy Execution
  • Draft detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and collaborate with technical teams to drive the development and implementation of complex security features.
  • Coordinate with the security technology team and risk management team to establish and execute dynamic risk strategies (e.g., device risk scoring, behavioral monitoring).
  • Lead cross-functional collaborations, ensuring alignment of resources, timelines, and goals to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  1. Data-Driven Continuous Optimization
  • Analyze account security-related data (e.g., risk incidents, user behavior, feature usage) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously monitor security metrics (e.g., account compromise rate, user security settings adoption rate) and propose data-driven enhancements.
  • Design and implement A/B testing for security features to validate functionality and user acceptance.
  1. User Education and Guidance
  • Develop feature guidance and real-time security education to help users correctly enable MFA, bind trusted devices, and improve account security.
  • Promote account activity transparency (e.g., login history, device details) to build user trust and increase engagement with security features.
  • Leverage case studies and user feedback to enhance user security awareness and risk prevention.

What We Look For In You:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Product Management, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in account security or related fields.
  • Prior experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, payments, or other high-risk industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MFA, device fingerprinting, and risk scoring technologies is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, FIDO2), cryptographic fundamentals, and device environment security.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to implement complex security features.
  • Data-driven product design skills, with the ability to identify needs and optimizations from user behavior and attack chains.
  • Excellent cross-team communication skills, capable of coordinating multiple teams to drive complex projects to completion.
