The following position is to join our Enterprise Services Applications team:

RTX Enterprise Services Applications team has an exciting opportunity in Applications Strategy and Transformation as a Strategic Engagement Lead for Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and CORE partnering with the Corporate Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and CORE functions to drive transformation through a Business Strategy and Delivery process to yield aligned strategy, technical roadmaps, business process hierarchy, prioritized strategic investment portfolios and steady state governance to deliver business and financial results.

What You Will Do:  

  • Serving as the focal point and liaison between Enterprise Services Applications and the Corporate functions to lead, influence and facilitate the Business Strategy and Delivery engagement model

  • Partnering with Corporate Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and CORE to deliver and oversee the execution of an integrated strategic investment portfolio yielding transformative results, technology standards and optimized application portfolios

  • Leading a cross-functional, cross-service area team comprised of functional representatives, portfolio management, program management, enterprise architecture, service area expertise and financial management

  • Serving as the focal point for communication, issue resolution and escalation between the Enterprise Services Applications service areas and Corporate Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and CORE functions

  • Responsibility for reporting on the full portfolio of strategic investments and leading the iteration, risk and opportunity management and meeting commitments on financial, schedule and value metrics across the portfolio

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Technologies, Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline and at least 14 years of directly applicable experience gained in a large corporate setting

  • Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in Digital Technologies, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality

  • Experience leading strategic planning and investment planning processes and teams across multiple boundaries with the ability to influence and lead change without direct reporting authority across multiple boundaries at a Corporate level

  • Experience with leading change and facilitating cross-boundary executive leaders with the ability to manage investment portfolios and program performance

  • Experience managing and forecasting Software, Hardware and labor costs for Digital service areas

  • Experience collaborating and communicating (i.e., presentations, memos, white papers) to multiple levels (including executive) in the organization.

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Experience with Enterprise IT services financial and business models including investment models

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling them to deal effectively with employees, internal and external partners, and executive leadership.

  • Ability to take initiative working effectively within a team or individually with little direct supervision

  • Strong analytical skills

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
