Job Title:          Lead Analyst, Enterprise Data Product & Governance

Location:          Riga, Latvia, Corporate Office, 5-day on-site

Job Description:

Generates business value across Circle K by delivering data solutions with a strong focus on data policies, quality, and governance. This involves, but is not limited to:

• Collect and document key data governance requirements from various business stakeholders across multiple data domains (25%).

• Serve as the bridge between technology teams and business teams in the data governance domains (25%).

• Document, monitor, and report on data governance activities associated with assigned domains/ work areas, including but not limited to creating and maintaining requirements, JIRA / work tickets, status reporting, process documentation, and any other applicable artifacts (25%).

• Perform necessary work in the Data Governance tool, such as Informatica, to create & update data glossaries, definitions, and catalogs (25%).

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of related work experience. Alternatively, a Masters’ degree with 5+ years of related work experience.

• 7+ years of experience working in Data Governance.

• Working familiarity (1+ year of experience) with

  • Snowflake

  • Informatica

  • Medallion Architecture

  • Agile Project Management, such as: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, Feature Driven Development, Test Driven Development (TDD), or SAFE.

  • JIRA, Confluence, and/ or other Data Analytics / Governance tools.

  • CRM tools such as ServiceNow or similar tools.

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management and/ or Data Analysis, which include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Own data product/ data concept ideation and assist the team from initiation to final deployment.

  • Manage roadmaps, tasks, dependencies, and schedule commitments.

  • Build new data products that provide business value to both internal & external customers.

  • Able to make intelligent decisions and execute despite ambiguity to help customers achieve success.

  • History of successful delivery and adoption of technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the organization and bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

  • Collecting and writing high-level requirements in collaboration with both internal & external customers in JIRA / ticketing system or Confluence / SharePoint / documentation store equivalent.

  • Identify areas for improvement in existing business processes and data flows.

  • Working with team members in developing and delivering training materials to help ensure the adoption of technology solutions.

Nice to Have

• 1+ year(s) retail industry experience

• Familiarity with Tibco EBX

• Familiarity with Middleware / ESB tools such as Boomi.

• Familiarity with Data Engineering tools: FiveTran, Qlik, ADF, etc.

• Familiarity with Data Orchestration tools experience: Airflow, Prefect.

• Familiarity with Semantic layer tools such as dbt.
