Job Summary:

A treasury Accountant play a critical role in managing the company’s cash flow, ensuring accurate financial records, and optimizing liquidity. They are responsible for tracking, maintaining, and overseeing the Treasury function of a business' banking accounts. They need to keep track of multiple accounts associated with the business, and requires making payments due to other parties

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash position to meet operational needs.
• Prepare and execute cash forecasting.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Processing foreign currency payments
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Analyze and optimize cash management processes for efficiency.
• Responsible for daily accounting for treasury activity including daily bank reconciliations and account clearance.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and system integrity, escalating any foreseeable issues or opportunities for improvement to management where required
• Support the month-end process where necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting field.
• Proven experience in treasury management or related financial roles.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader team.
• Appropriate handling of sensitive information
• Strong experience with accounting software, SAP would be an advantage.
• Team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple parties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
