About the Role

The Patient Services Clerk Team Leader will provide leadership, management and clerical support to the Cancer Centre Patient Services clerical team. The Patient Services Clerk Team Leader will be a role model and lead their team to  ensure that patient centered customer service and administrative support is delivered at the highest possible standard which reflects the values of the health service.

Classification for this position will be a HS3 - HS25 ($74,448.40 - $82,305.60 per annum)

Duties

  • To lead the clerical team in the delivery of the highest standard of clerical and administrative duties for the clinics and the chemotherapy day unit.

  • To lead the clerical team in the delivery of the highest level of customer service and professional standards

  • Supports and leads the clerical team through change management to ensure continuous quality improvement

  • To review the clinic model and implement improvements to ensure ongoing efficiencies

  • Monitor and review clinic performance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Cancer Services  clinics

  • Previous experience with MBS billing

  • Proficient with Patient Administration Systems

  • Proficient with Mosaiq Cancer Care Management System

  • Ability to lead a team
