Keystone Human Services is seeking a Program Director join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.


The Program Director manages all operational aspects of a residential program within Keystone Human Services. This position provides strong leadership in areas including, but not limited to, strategic use of resources, budgeting and financial management, quality, human resources, and ongoing development of new and existing practices.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership in establishing and obtaining operational goals in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan
  • Supervise staff in the performance of their responsibilities, including establishing employee performance standards, providing training, coaching, counseling and feedback
  • Monitor work schedules to ensure adequate coverage within assigned programs, while staying within the budgeted hours
  • Ensure that program resources are adequately utilized
  • Ensure compliance with agency, county, regional and state regulations in order to meet licensing requirements
  • Work with management to ensure that all staff are supported and quality services are delivered consistent with the Agency’s vision, mission, values and all applicable laws, regulations and licensing standards
  • Work with clinical leadership and staff to effectively manage emergency or crisis situations
  • Provide direct care as needed

Minimum Education Requirements: (One of the following)

  • Bachelor’s degree plus experience in intellectual disabilities or related field
  • Associates degree (60 credit hours) and one year of experience in intellectual disabilities or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent  and two years of experience in intellectual disabilities or related field

Additional Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize internal software programs
  • Ability to respond effectively in high stress/crisis
  • Valid Driver’s License with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year supervisory experience
  • Regulatory compliance experience
