Real time automated optimization of each process condition in the semiconductor process, APC (Auto Process Control : R2R), is key technology for improving the process capability, quality and yield.
Based on the process requirements of each process step, an R2R/YLR engineer in the PCS (Process Control System) team performs data analysis to realize automatic control, and develops, implements and continuously improves APC (R2R).
An R2R engineer is responsible for improving process capability, preventing quality excursions and improving operational efficiency. Also responsible for upgrading the R2R controller and participating in business process improvement projects with Micron global teams or R2R team members at other Micron sites.
Through this role, the R2R/YLR engineer is expected to gain an understanding of not only the APC system structure and the Micron APC System (R2R), but also knowledge of other Micron production control systems, such as MES. Also expected to improve their technical skills in process control and data analysis and to collaborate with the Micron global organization and have an active role in Micron worldwide.

・Managing their schedule and implementing assigned projects
・Understanding the basic concept of process control (SPC) and developing R2R for each process area
・Developing R2R controllers, applying and optimizing them for production and providing effective, efficient and innovative solutions
・Creating process control models and strategies to ensure quality output in partnership with partners
・Troubleshooting issues that impact areas or Fab process control models
・Collaborating with project teams at both the local and global level to use the best solutions possible
・Leading yield improvement (YLR) activities. Collaborating with other dept. team members (Yield Enhancement, Process Equipment Engineering) to reduce parameter variations which are strongly correlated with yield. Also, improving the YLR business process and contributing to yield improvement

Qualifications: (not required to meet all)
・Has knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), process control, and data analysis in general
・A basic understanding of Fab processes and equipment
・Problem solving skills based on data analysis
・Ability to develop, teach, present, and understand technical subjects
・An understanding of the communication and data flow between Fab equipment and IT hosts
・Ability to communicate and work well with other team members whether internal/external of the group
・Have strong time management and multitasking ability
・Proficient with Microsoft Office(Excel/Word/Power-point)
・Basic English communication skills (level of high school graduation)

Education and Experience: BS in an engineering related field or equivalent experience.
