Role purpose

Reporting to the National CX Commercial Experience Manager, the key purpose of the Commercial Manager – Business Development is to identify, negotiate and finalise new business development opportunities for both Car Parks and Storage Nationally. This role is responsible for developing prospects and pipelines to maximise Net Property Income (NPI) from both Carpark related income and storage.

The Commercial Manager - Business development is responsible for monitoring and the delivery of car park budgets across the portfolio and to support the expansion of new car park projects. IN addition to carparking, the Commercial Manager - Business development is responsible for overseeing the strategy and delivery of the Storage strategy including people management responsibility overseeing the Storage Income Analyst.

The role will be responsible for the review and analysis of external monthly car park management reports, storage forecasting and budgeting and to provide recommendations to increase income and reduce costs across the portfolio.

You will be proven business development professional ideally with a background in retail property. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills evidenced by your success at meeting and exceeding sales targets. 

You will have a proven background in driving and building new business and will be known for effectively managing and resolving conflict in order to meet business outcomes. You will have strong stakeholder management skill as demonstrated by your background building effective relationships both internally and externally.
