About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualification:
Good understanding of axiom objects / functionalities - Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Taxonomy report, Free Form, Tabular Report, workflow, sign-off, freezing etc.
Experience with modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Testing and SRE
Autosys (JIL) scripting experience
Strong knowledge on Oracle and SQL Queries.
Familiarity with Agile process.

Required Experience:
7+ years of overall experience in Finance industry out of which minimum 4 years in Axiom Controller View V10.
Experience with any major relational database (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, SYBASE)
Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting.
Good understanding and experience in client-server applications development.
Sound hands-on experience in Oracle 19c Database and AXIOM reporting tool
Exposure to financial institution with exposure to Regulatory Reporting
Knowledge of the finance markets and financial products, including Balance Sheet and Income statement concepts.
Familiarity with complex system integration and excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Good understanding of OOP and design patterns
Good Understanding on US and/or EMEA regulatory reporting and/or Basel Reporting.
Desired Skills:
Experience on the Python/Pyspark framework
Experience on Axiom Infrastructure Setup
Job Expectations:
Responsible for technical solutions Design, Delivery across all aspects of the Axiom Development lifecycle of Regulatory Reporting.
