About the Role

Able to apply different data science techniques such as deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing and other approach on different business requirements from various business units.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to collect, extract, and wrangle data that is used to perform analytic modelling.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithm applied to different data sets based on business requirements
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor, assess, and analyze algorithm, model performance, and data accuracy
  • Develop testing framework and test model quality.
  • Coordinate with various business units to implement models or process and tools.
  • Develop governance and framework to establish analytics practice across the organization

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Innovative, proactive, creative, well-organized and able to easily adapt to various technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning; attention to details; Process-oriented
  • Great interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Can present complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Comfortable in very fast-paced environment and transforming organization
  • Willingness and desire to learn new environment and tools and advance your knowledge. Keeps up to data with new research and integrated applications in the area of data science.
  • Willingness to train and educate resources on data science topics

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or an equivalent course with 3 years + experience in data/computational focus.
  • Experience using programming languages such as Python, SQL
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Strong knowledge on advanced statistical methods, predictive and prescriptive methods. Preferably with expertise in deep learning, recommender systems, and NLP/Computational Linguistics
  • Background in handling big data. Strong track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting data from large databases.
