Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our Wellington, KS team!

As our Accounting Clerk you will work with our operations team at our Shot Peening facility, focusing on local accounting tasks.

Location: Wellington, KS

Salary: $18-$21/hour

Your Challenge

• Checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records. (50%)
• Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. (20%)
• Identifies discrepancies and determines alternative courses of action. (15%)
• Maintains a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. Reconciles moderately complex accounts. (15%)

• Ability to accurately handle and record financial data.
